Professor E. A. Olajubu got admitted into the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he graduated with Bachelor degree in Computer Science with Economics. He also obtained two research degrees (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the same University.
He was employed as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, where he graduated. He rose through the ranks to become a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife. He was appointed as the Acting Head of his Department for two consecutive academic sessions between October 1, 2018 and July 31, 2020.
His current research interests are in distributed systems, Cyber Security with emphasis on network security and cyber physical system security, Telemedicine and ICT4D. He has authored and co-authored over 80 research articles in international conferences and credible journal outlets. He is the current coordinator of Cyber Security research group at Obafemi Awolowo University. He is the head of CySe LAB. at Incubation Centre, ACE Buildings Complex, Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a member of many professional bodies locally and abroad.
He was announced a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with many decades of teaching and mentorship. He has won several research grants both at national and international levels. He has served as visiting Professor to many Nigerian Universities. He has organized and spoken in many national, international conferences and workshops. He is happily married with children.
