Prof. Sylvester Olusegun Ojo (M.B.B.S, FMCPath, M.D).         

Professor of Pathology

Prof. Olusegun Sylvester Ojo is a distinguished Professor of Pathology at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and a leading expert in gastroenterology and anatomical pathology in Nigeria. He specializes in Pathology, focusing on liver diseases and digestive tract disorders. He has held leadership positions in medical societies, including former President of SOGHIN and AMAGE. He is also the author of Essential Pathology for Clinical Students in the Tropics and serves as Chairman of the Faculty of Pathology at the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He was the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Tropical Pathology and helped establish the Gastroenterological Society of Sub-Saharan Africa. Professor Ojo is considered a mentor in the Nigerian medical community.
