Dr. Olaejirinde Olaniyi Olaofe is a histopathologist and a senior faculty member in the Department of Morbid Anatomy and Forensic Medicine at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). He currently serves as the Acting Head of Department for the 2024–2025 academic session. He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, where he earned his primary medical degree before completing postgraduate residency training in histopathology at the OAU Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC). In 2024, he was appointed the first Murray F. Brennan International Soft Tissue Sarcoma Fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in the United States, where he is working to develop a specialized sarcoma database for Nigeria. His research and clinical interests focus on the pathology of tumors and tropical diseases, particularly: Gynaecological & Musculoskeletal Pathology:

He has authored or co-authored over 70 scholarly publications and is a member of the West African College of Physicians and a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria
